The Crown 5 updates on its previous iterations with a new, sleek shape that is expertly machined and made of stainless steel. The bubble glass included allows for 5ml of e-liquid to be held in the tank, and it can be refilled via the easy child proof top-filling cap mechanism.
The tank is on the larger side width-wise, measuring 29mm in diameter, but this allows it to stand just over five centimetres tall which means it'll balance nicely on most mods capable of running it.
The coils are also updated, but they retain the mesh build of the last two Crown tanks. These mesh coils have always been wonderful for intense flavour, and that flavour is one of the Crown's biggest selling points. It really is spectacular. The coils run the full range from 50 to 70 watts, but can be pushed slightly either side of those recommendations for either a tighter and smaller or looser and deeper inhale.
The kit comes with both a 0.3 ohm UN2-2 Dual Meshed Coil best used between 50 and 55 watts, and a 0.23 ohm UN2 Single Meshed Coil best used between 65 and 70 watts.
